Progress Energy needed to open a dialog with residences, politician and key decision makers in the Carolinas concerning the need for increased nuclear energy capacity to serve the growing energy demand of the region. One important tool in their plan was the creation of a professionally produced video presentation that would tell their message in a dynamic, compelling and persuasive style. The video needed to be segmented for non-linear viewing and required inter-changeable components for viewing by different audiences.

Progress Energy selected Third Wave Digital as the vendor of choice on this important project due to Third Wave’s intimate knowledge of the energy industry and the many communication solutions they have produced on the topic of nuclear energy education. Third Wave Digital’s services covered everything from overall theme development, script writing, production, post-production and customized 3-D animation. The finished 8-minute presentation was authored to DVD with a menu system.
