The Third Wave Rolls to 6th consecutive American Advertising Federation Best of Show Award in the Central Georgia district.
For the sixth year in row, the creative team at Third Wave Advertising has won the Central Georgia Advertising Federation's highest honor at the annual Addy Awards excellence in advertising competition. Since incorporating in 1997, Third Wave Digital has continually provided award winning creative services for its clients and its self-promotion efforts.
In addition to winning the Central Georgia Advertising Federation's Best of Show award for six years in a row, two of those entrees (FPL's "Reactor Animation" in 2001 and The Energy Encounter's "Energy Master Challenge" in 2003) have gone on to win Golden Addy Awards in the American Advertising Federation's Southeastern District competition. Beyond the local and regional level, Third Wave has garnered national recognition for its creative services by winning a Golden Muse Award presented by the American Museum Association in 2002.
Third Wave's recognition for creativity has also lead to a contract with the Smithsonian Institute to provide services to the National Postal Museum's web site in 2004. This year's Best of Show entry submitted by Third Wave Advertising was an interactive web site created for Paul Walsh Nissan & Walsh Honda. The web site (http://www.walshautomall.com) is a cutting edge blend of Flash animated elements interspersed with streaming media clips and controlled by an interactive user friendly graphic user interface.
David Walsh, General Manager of Paul Walsh Nissan said, "We asked Third Wave Advertising to create a web presence that would distinguish our product and services from other auto dealers and provide our customers with an effective tool to shop on-line." The web site created for the Walsh Auto Mall not only won a Golden ADDY in its category, but also garnered the "Best of Show" award by virtue of the fact that the judges awarded it the highest score in entire competition. The judging was conducted by a three person panel of advertising professionals gathered from across the Southeast.
Michael Feuvrel, Director of Technology for Third Wave, was tasked with creating the code for this cutting edge web site. Feuvrel said, "Our strength lies in the ability to take our client's ideas and make them a reality." Bart Campione, President of Third Wave Advertising had this to say about Third Wave's unprecedented six consecutive Best of Show awards, "While awards competitions are rarely a good indicator of effective advertising, they do provide an accurate reflection of an advertising agency's creative ability and it is safe to assume that with Third Wave Advertising's creative talents are consistent."
